Is it normal to travel alone?
Most people in general don’t find that it’s normal but a lot of people do solo travel there are entire communities built around traveling alone.

Its great in a way that you will gain so much life experience
Is it cheaper to travel alone or with a tour?
It can be it all depends on how you travel and what kind of excursions/accommodations you are interested in. If you are going with a group of friends or family you can split the costs but if you are going with a company that gives tours and is all inclusive it can cost thousands and the places that you go to throughout your trip are planned out for you all down to the times. If you go alone you can decide each day which places you want to go without having to rush or having to go someplace you may not be interested in on the tour. If you opt to travel alone you can pick and choose your accommodations based on your budget. Lets say some hotel prices are too high for you can stay in a hostel in a shared room in other countries you can book a stay at a hostel for as low as $5 or in the united states some range from starting at $30-$40 a night. However hotels NICE hotels can cost well over $100-$150 starting a night but if you bring a or two you can split the cost two or three ways. Going with a travel tour company they may charge you even more for booking the accommodations for you along with your excursions
How do you get paid to solo travel?
- By creating a travel blog and earning money from paid ads or affiliate marketing
- Getting paid sponsorships with companies
- Get a job that will allow you to travel
- Start a youtube channel based around traveling and get paid from ads, sponsorships and maybe selling merch

The data has change over time in previous years the average age was 47 years old. Then it went down an astounding 25-34 years old. More people are discovering the joys of solo travel and wanting to try it out for themselves
Is solo travel awkward?
Only if you let it be, im someone who has always enjoyed spending time alone so it doesnt feel awkward to me just feels like a normal day on a street ive never been to.
What should you not do when traveling alone?
- Never tell strangers your traveling alone unless your in a hostel in which case its obvious.
- Leave your stuff unattended, carry a lock for your luggage or your locker
- Never bring with you that you aren’t afraid to lose aka don’t carry any valuables/keepsakes only carry the necessities with you.
Do introverts travel alone?
Yes, I am an introvert myself and think about it, introverts enjoy being alone so why would we not want to travel alone too? Doing things like staying alone to binge watch on netflix, going on solo dates, going on staycations, and even traveling alone are an introverts dream because it doesn’t involve other people draining our social battery
What is the personality of people who travel alone?
There is no one personality trait of a solo traveler most people would say extrovert but I am an introvert and which to me makes sense because introverts prefer to spend time alone.

- You can come and go as you please and get up when your ready without having to shape your day around other people

What motivates people to travel alone?
Pretty much the same as the question from above but for me personally i was tired of having to wait on other people to go places with me. And a lot of times I would just never get to go at all because of the waiting and people just not wanting to go out places and over time especially after the pandemic a lot of places that I wanted to go to closed down permanently and now I will never get to go because i waited on other people.
How do you travel by yourself and not be lonely?
- You will meet people while you travel I promise. I am an introvert as I pretty much met people everywhere I went . I even hung out with another traveler while staying in a hostel.
- You can meet people easily in hostels I think because you already have traveling in common, especially solo traveling.
- Find activities to do locally where you are visiting there are people everywhere!!
- You can go on one of those sightseeing tours like on a tour bus or on a walking tour
- Bring a journal to document your journey get out all your thoughts use the time your not with people to understand yourself outside of other people.
How does traveling alone help mental health?
You get to finally take a break from reality and take the time to just fill your own cup by being there for yourself and not centering your life around showing up for other people, your job, your family, friends etc.
