5 Travel must haves when traveling solo
- Battery Pack
This is one item you are not going to want to forget. Whether you are out exploring or in your hostel you never know the circumstances in which you will be able to get to an outlet. You may not have one where you are sleeping. These days our phones do a lot for us so make sure your phone is kept charged at all times make sure to keep your portable battery pack charger on deck.
2. Lock
For the safety of your personal belongings you are going to want a lock. You may be using it for your actual luggage or backpack or some hostels may have lockers for you to put your stuff in. This is added extra piece of mind for when you are sleeping or when you leave your hostel and want keep your stuff safe while you are out.
3. Money Belt
Another way for you to feel secure is to have a money belt. It stays under your clothes out of sight. Lets face it we never know if we may lose our belongings or if you will get pick pocketed so just in case keep a little extra on your person for extra reassurance in case of an emergency.
4. Mini toiletries or none at all
Let me save you some back pain by telling you not to bring normal sized hygiene products you can get stuff when you actually get in the town of your destination and drop it off at your accommodation. Another option is you can use the free products that are usually going to be at a lot of places but are not guaranteed but trust me just settle for the small mini products in the travel section of walmart or target.
5. Tripod
Not just any tripod definitely not one of those short ones you sit on the desk compact one that can extend a few feet high. I learned my lesson from my last trip i brought one of those really short ones and i could not get the best pictures because you have to stand really far back for it to get everything in view in the picture .
