Watch Season 1 of Emily in Paris on Netflix
This new coming of age stars a young woman named Emily in her 20’s im guessing, who lucks up when her coworker ends up pregnant surprisingly so then she is then offered a job in Paris that was originally meant for her coworker. She has a long time boyfriend whom she will have to juggle working on a long distance relationship with all while learning how to speak french, start a new job in a new city, make new friends, and get along with her new coworkers that hated her upon arrival.
Here’s what happened within the first few episodes…
- Emily’s boyfriend broke up with her because he couldn’t do the long distance relationship thing anymore ( he barely even tried)
- Emily posts a controversial tweet about the way that the word “vagina” is referred to as well male in the french language
- Her new boss hates her because she doesn’t know french & Her boss is the mistress of the CEO of a luxury perfume brand and the CEO has been flirting with emily he even sent her some sexy lingerie to her job.
- Hot guy on the fourth floor of her apartment building that she’s clearly crushing on
Emily has been posting daily on her Instagram page @emilyinparis things that she sees and does. She started out at around 30 something followers and at this point around the 3rd episode she reached over 10k followers on instagram.
She’s having a hard time warming up her coworkers and her boss on her American views for the companies marketing campaigns.
Emily seems to be very quick at making friends in high places
*** PLOT Twist Her hot neighbor Gabriel that she likes has a GIRLFRIEND (That she is friends with) which she found out after she thanked him with a kiss for helping her with an important dinner party for the company she works for.
Her & Gabriel agree that nothing ever happened and to move on meanwhile she continues to hang out with Camille which is Gabriel’s girlfriend.
Emily went to an influencer event for a former client of her current company and her boss didn’t approve so she demanded that she deleted her @EmilyinParis Instagram account so her and her friend had one last night of posting and fun on her account before she deletes her account however, not even 24 hours later a client called her boss who took a liking to her last post location and Emily herself and now emily is officially an influencer.
Emily’s boss continues to disagree with Emily’s marketing ideas and she continues to prove her wrong over and over again.
Emily meets a guy, a professor whom she has amazing sex with and Gabriel & Camille can here from the fourth floor however the guy turns out to be a snob so that doesnt last long
Emily, Camille, and Gabriel head to Camille’s family wine vineyard to pitch a marketing campaign to her family. Emily embarrassingly ends up having SEX with Camille’s brother who is 17 years old!!!
Emily is very sexually fluid i guess you could say so far she kissed her neighbor who has a girlfriend twice and has had two one night stands well one of those she did have like one and a half dates with and one the next episode, episode 9 another guy makes it known as another potential love interest one of her companies clients Mathieu Cadult. It’s been a while since i’ve seen a show with such casual dating and sex i found this to be more common in a lot of 90’s sitcom tv shows i noticed that it was almost frowned upon to not have a date on friday nights and very common to be what i guess you can call a serial dater maybe. It’s very freeing to see a woman be able to just casually date in a show and have sex and for her not to be judged.
Gabriel is leaving to buy a restaurant in Normandy and Camille won’t go with him so naturally they broke up! On Gabriel’s last night at the restaurant the two hook up! that’s right they had sex thinking that that he was leaving but in a turn of events someone bought the restaurant that Gabriel was working at so now he gets to stay in Paris.
So far Emily in Paris is a great show can’t believe I waited so long to watch it can’t wait to watch for the second season of Emily in Paris on Netflix definitely five stars.
